How Fieldwork uses your information
Who I am
Fieldwork is run by Gerard Kelly, a sole trader based in Northern Ireland. I'm the data controller for information collected through this website. Contact: gerard@fieldworkops.co.uk.
What I collect
- When you email me: your name, email address and whatever you include in the message.
- When we arrange a call: the time, and anything you tell me about your HubSpot setup.
- If you become a client: contact and billing details needed to deliver the work and invoice you.
This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies, and it has no forms of its own.
Why I use it
- To reply to you and arrange calls (legitimate interests).
- To deliver services you've agreed to (contract).
- To keep financial records required by HMRC (legal obligation).
I don't sell your information or add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who else handles it
I use a small number of services to run the business: Cloudflare to host this website and forward email, and Google (Gmail) for email. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
Client portal data is covered separately by the data processing agreement signed before any work starts.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries that don't go anywhere: up to 12 months.
- Client and invoice records: 6 years after the end of the tax year, as HMRC requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Email gerard@fieldworkops.co.uk and I'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
